

Anna Cox
Practice Director
Anna joined us in January 2018 and has experienced many areas of the veterinary industry from veterinary sales to a scientist for the veterinary laboratories agency. She has a house full of animals that seem to have found her! They consist of a rabbit, two rescue hens, a Springer Spaniel named Harvey, a horse called Joey and six Dexter cattle. Anna doesn’t have much spare time to do anything else! She loves her job and the veterinary industry in general.


Helen Grazier
Head Receptionist
Helen has worked in administration for over 15 years, previously with Next and has been with Townsend since September 2013. She is owned by two black fluffy cats, Cleo and Jessica. Helen enjoys drives in the countryside and long walks on the beach.


Jennie Archer
Receptionist
After various management roles in the Customer service sector, Jennie took semi retirement and part time work at Townsend Vets as a Receptionist. Jennie is the proud owner of a 5 year old rescue cat from the Blue Cross and she really enjoys working with animals. In her spare time Jennie enjoys meeting up with friends, eating out, Pilates and going to the gym.


Marie Collins-Burton
Receptionist
Marie joined Townsend in 2014 as a part-time receptionist after 30 years working in banking to pursue her love for animals. She was already a volunteer for the Blue Cross animal charity and has been able to continue with this. She has recently become a Border Terrier mum, alongside having two cats and two guinea pigs which she adores and which make her smile every day.


Carolyn Graham
Receptionist
Carolyn joined the Droitwich branch in January 2019. She has worked in Further Education for the majority of her adult career and also ran successful Hula Hooping Keep Fit classes around the Worcestershire area for over seven years. In her youth she represented the County and District in netball, lacrosse and athletics. She is also a keen skier. Her life is less hectic nowadays and she is in her element working as a receptionist in Droitwich meeting and greeting clients and their beloved pets. In her opinion, work life couldn't be better!


Wendy Harrison
Receptionist
Wendy joined the Townsend team as receptionist in September 2014 and has lived in Rubery for many years. She is married with two grown up daughters. In her spare time she walks her two crazy dogs, Holly and Ellie. Her latest addition to the family is a Chihuahua called Minnie, and she has a horse called Lady.


Sandra Linford
Receptionist
Sandra moved to Bromsgrove in 1992 where she bought up her two children who are now grown up. She has been a receptionist at Townsend for over 10 years and enjoys the many friendships she has built up with both colleagues and clients. Sandra loves her pets; she has a dog called Sam, a cat called Harvey and a rather large rabbit called Honey, who is even bigger than the cat! Sandra enjoys socialising with family and friends, especially going out for meals and visiting the theatre.


Fiona Quinn
Receptionist
Fiona has been a receptionist at Townsend Vets since 2003. She was born and bred in Bromsgrove and has lived here all her life. She loves her job at Townsend meeting the clients and their pets and helping in any way possible with clients, colleagues, vets and nurses alike. She has two lovely boys and a very patient husband. She enjoys meals out with family and friends and in her spare time and also likes to run, swim, garden and read. Over the years she has taken part in two London marathons and even dabbled in triathlon as well as raised money on charity runs and bike rides which she enjoyed most of the time!


Julie Steel
Receptionist
Julie joined Townsend as a receptionist in 2007 after having a career working with horses and as a recruitment consultant. Since joining the practice she has completed an NVQ in Business/Administration and is also a human first aider. Julie enjoys all aspects of her job, especially meeting the animals and their owners and processing insurance claims is her speciality. Outside of work Julie enjoys spending time with her family, walking and the occasional bike ride.


Emma Whetlor
Receptionist
Emma graduated from Pershore College with a Higher National Diploma in Animal Welfare and Management before joining Townsend in March 2010. She first worked at our Droitwich branch as an animal care assistant before transferring to our Bromsgrove practice as a receptionist and health and safety co-ordinator. Emma enjoys all aspects of her job, especially cuddling all the cute pets. Emma has a child and two dogs, a black Labrador called Eva and a Golden Cocker Spaniel called Teddy. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to the cinema.


Helen Young
Receptionist
Helen has worked at Townsend since November 2013. During this time she has had two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending days out with her partner and children and is hoping to get a cat soon having lost her previous cat Jeff, whom she really misses.
Helen is currently on maternity leave and we are all very excited to meet her new addition to the family.
