
Dr Stephanie Tickle MA VetMB MRCVS
Supervisory Veterinary Surgeon
Stephanie graduated from Cambridge University in 2000 and has been settled in the local area since 2004. Already an experienced clinical director, she joined Townsend in 2016 to take up the leadership reins and support the other veterinary staff with their more challenging cases. She is now our supervisory veterinary surgeon. Stephanie enjoys all aspects of medicine and soft tissue surgery, in addition to her managerial duties. She is also qualified to issue pet passports. Stephanie has two children and a stubborn silver coated tabby cat called Rosie that she can’t give tablets to. Outside of work she enjoys swimming and travelling.

June Choi MRCVS
June has been working in small animal clinics ever since she graduated from the University of Nottingham with a veterinary medicine degree in 2014. June enjoys all aspects of her work, particularly facing new challenges. She rescued two cats, Mojo and Jojo, who were abandoned in the veterinary clinic, and has been happily living with her two house rabbits Dale and Cappuccino. During her free time, June enjoys playing badminton and mahjong, a traditional Chinese board game.

Joanna Longster BVetMed MRCVS
Joanna joined the practice in February 2010 after qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009. She is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and cardiology and has completed courses in heart scanning (echocardiology). Joanna is also the cat advocate for the practice. She has a very energetic Pointer cross Collie called Roddy. When not out walking Roddy Joanna is a keen cyclist, and most weekends can be found peddling her way about the Worcestershire Countryside.

Cian O’Connell BSc DVM MRCVS
Cian is from Limerick in Ireland. After getting a BSc from University College Cork and working in Pharma he moved to Budapest to follow a lifelong ambition to study veterinary medicine. He graduated in June 2017 and joined the Townsend team in August. Cian has ambitions to pursue a certificate in surgery. In his spare time he likes to play and watch football and keep fit at the gym.

Tatiana Santos MRCVS
Tatiana graduated from University of Lisbon, Portugal in 2016. Right after graduating she moved to the UK and started a rotating internship at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals in Bristol. Tatiana has a special interest in imaging and would love to pursue a residency in diagnostic imaging in the future. During her free time she enjoys going to the movies and riding around on her motorbike.
